There is no legal obligation for the University to give a plaque, trophy, or other award to any student, faculty, staff, individual, organization or entity, unless recipient meets the following conditions:

• Recipient qualifies under a University approved rewards and recognition program.
• Recipient is selected through established selection criteria for the award.

All purchases, regardless of the dollar amount, require prior approval using a request for framing, plaques, trophies, or other awards form (PUR526) from the Purchasing Office when using University funds.
