Video Production and Sound/Lighting Services

The Office of Purchasing has negotiated and entered into a contract for Campus-Wide Personal Services with Premier Production and Sound Services.  They will provide video production and audio/lighting services and equipment for various University events. They will provide management of the systems and Production/Sound Engineers onsite during the entertainment events and will be totally responsible for the production of lighting, sound, visual, cameras, and staging during these events.  See below for procedures to schedule these services in ADVANCE of the University event:

• Contact Brian Gordon or Russ Bryant at Premier Production and Sound Services at (225) 923-0228 or email pss@psssound.com to obtain a quote for requested services.  Note that in order to obtain a quote, you will need to provide specific instructions and event requirements and you will need to provide contact information for your event.

• Premier Production and Sound Services will present a quote for requested services to the University Department in accordance with the rate schedule and addendum 1, rate schedule of the LSU Contract.

• Once received, verify the rate schedule on the quote and release a PSR type requisition to Purchasing for requested services.

• The Purchasing Office will review and issue a Purchase Order to Premier Production and Sound Services.   The Department will be notified via email of the purchase order number.

• Premier Production and Sound Services will submit an invoice upon completion of each individual event in accordance with the previously agreed quote of services to the University Department.

• The University Department will verify the invoice and prepare a receiving report for payment of services.
