Procurement Auxiliary Services serves departments as an internal source and provider of goods and services, and is comprised of Printing Services, University Stores, Mailing Services, Copier Management, and Design Services.
Departments may make purchases directly from any PAS unit as internal transactions, achieving administrative efficiencies and savings. Those savings in turn benefit the general fund departments by supplementing administrative costs for the university.
DESIGN SERVICES

Design Services is a full-service design studio offering professional, creative assistance and production of your print media and web design. The DS intern program provides valuable working experience for LSU student designers. Design, content, approval and production of "reputation-defining" University communications shall be in accordance with PS-10.

Printing Services possesses state-of-the-art digital and traditional offset color equipment, and is capable of meeting all printing requirements, from simple to complex jobs. Department printing needs are to be procured through Printing Services unless otherwise approved.
Printing Services has won national awards and acclaim for its quality productions, and is one of the largest university printing operations in the country.
COPIER MANAGEMENT

Copier Management furnishes and maintains all copiers for the LSU campus, including public service coin-op and TigerCash copiers. Copiers are provided to departments and billed based on predetermined monthly copy allowances and fixed “cost per copy” or click charges. There are no hidden or additional charges for service calls, repairs, parts, labor, toner, or staples. Departments may not purchase or lease copiers from external sources.
The benefits of the University’s Copier Management Program include:
• Broad selection of copier configurations for networked or standalone needs
• Fixed, all-inclusive “cost per copy” fees for simple and accurate budgeting
• On-site delivery/setup and departmental training whenever needed
• Unlimited service calls and guaranteed response time

MAILING SERVICES

Mailing Services processes and distributes the inbound, outbound, and campus mail for the University. Outbound mail services include first class, international, bulk, package, overnight, registered, and certified processing; as well as special needs for inkjet or label addressing, folding, inserting, tabbing, etc. Service request forms are available from the Copy & Mail Center. Call 578-2710 and we’ll be happy to send you a UPS Shipping form or a Bulk Mail Request form via fax or email. Mailing Services also operates as an authorized UPS station.

University Stores is your on-site source and provider of inventoried, high-volume, consumable supply items; and provides delivery service to departments. University Stores offers an online catalog, order entry, and payables system, as well as counter sales for walk-in customers.
Inventoried items include:
• Office supplies; copy paper; printer/fax supplies
• Scientific laboratory supplies and chemicals
• MRO supplies (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscape, etc)
• Janitorial/housekeeping supplies and paper goods
• Cylinder gases
